Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing manicures and pedicures with precision and attention to detail
- Applying and maintaining nail enhancements such as acrylics and gels
- Providing customized nail art and designs catering to client preferences
- Engaging clients in consultations to determine their desired nail services
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment adhering to health and safety regulations
- Monitoring and managing inventory of nail care products and tools
- Upselling additional services and retail products to clients
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients ensuring their satisfaction
- Staying updated on the latest nail care trends techniques and products
- Working collaboratively with other salon staff to deliver a seamless client experience
- Handling financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in training and professional development opportunities
- Adhering to professional and ethical standards at all times
- Assisting in maintaining a welcoming and organized salon environment
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and licensing requirements
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal training and certification in nail technology or cosmetology
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician in a salon or spa setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing manicures pedicures and nail enhancements
- Strong knowledge of nail art techniques and designs
- Ability to engage clients in consultations and recommend appropriate nail services
- Understanding of sanitation and hygiene best practices in nail care
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment
- Uptodate knowledge of nail care products trends and technology
- Basic math and computer skills for transaction processing and recordkeeping
- Attention to detail and time management abilities
- Compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for nail technicians
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
