Job Description

Job Title: Teaching Associate in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering (Contractual)
Department: Aeronautical Engineering
Reports To: Head of Department

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering
Lecturer to join our department. The candidate will be responsible for enhancing
students understanding of fundamental and advanced aeronautical concepts preparing
them for realworld challenges in aerospace design research and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lectures tutorials and practical workshops on key
aeronautical/aerospace topics including:
Aerodynamics: Fluid mechanics compressible and incompressible flows boundary
layers airfoil theory.
Aircraft Structures: Stress analysis material science fatigue and fracture mechanics
structural dynamics.
Propulsion Systems: Jet engines rocket propulsion thermodynamics combustion
principles.
Flight Mechanics and Control: Stability aircraft performance guidance systems and
control theory.
Spacecraft Design and Orbital Mechanics (for advanced courses): Satellite systems
space propulsion orbital dynamics.
Design and implement course assessments including assignments projects and
examinations.
Provide academic support and mentorship to students assisting with individual learning
needs and career advice.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cuttingedge industry trends and technological
advancements into the curriculum.
Participate in curriculum development to ensure course offerings remain current and
competitive.
Stay updated with emerging aerospace technologies research and developments in
the field of aeronautical engineering.
Engage in departmental meetings contribute to research initiatives and participate in
professional development activities.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Aeronautical Aerospace Engineering or a closely
related field.
Prior experience as a lecturer or professional in the aerospace industry with a strong
understanding of aeronautical applications.
Proven ability to deliver complex technical content in a clear and engaging manner.
A passion for fostering a deep understanding of aeronautical engineering principles
among students.

Desirable Skills:
Experience with simulation software (e.g. MATLAB ANSYSCATIA SolidWorks) and
flight control systems.
Research interest in aerospace engineering or education methodologies.
Experience with curriculum development and course design.
Familiarity with the latest trends in aerospace technology and innovation.
Location: In person

Salary: Rs 30000 Rs 40000/month
