This is a remote position.
This role is looking for a virtual assistant who loves working across all facets of the business. You will help the Director in running day to day business operations including client onboarding and offboarding as well as various bookkeeping tasks. You will have experience working with an Australian Client and be exposed to Australian Tax Standards but you certainly dont need to be an expert. This role will require you to think outside the square and work with the rest of the team to provide great service and keep the director on track. There will be great learning opportunities working alongside the other team members.
ROLE OVERVIEW
- Support Director with client communications
- Manage client onboarding and offboarding
- Manage all client engagement letters ensuring the practice is following regulations
- Support bookkeeping clients with bank reconciliations and accounts payable
- Preparation of payroll for multiple entities if required
- Various Executive Assistant tasks including but not limited to email and calendar management
- Manage ASIC files for clients where required
- Support the business in optimising current business software tools
- Manage internal debtors ensuring bills are paid on time
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant
- At least 1 year of experience in Australian bookkeeping
- Proficient in Xero with Xero and Xero Payroll certifications
- Experience as a Virtual Assistant handling various business functions
- Familiarity with Australian business practices particularly in bookkeeping
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- High attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
