Head Transaction Banking

Lead the Bank s transaction banking long term strategy function and translating the strategy into business and functional objectives.

Drive the loan revenues objectives of the group from a products viewpoint i.e. by ensuring that the P&L targets of our loan products are achieved.

Drive and support strategy in partnership with other business segments.

Track strategy and performance against established targets/metrics for transaction banking.

Work with the CBG RM to develop a core list of 60 clients where significant Trade revenues opportunities exist. For most part this list will correspondent with our top 60 clients list but will not exclude the significant opportunities achievable from names outside this list.

Work with the various RMs independent risk and the CBGH to ensure that these trade opportunities are converted to bankable assets and revenue streams

Drive optimal utilization levels of approved Trade facilities at any point in time

On a BAU basis track the revenue performance of all our Trade clients to ensure complete realisation of our trade revenues

Plays a critical role in ensuring that the Bank achieves a Trade products pricing approach that is systematic riskdifferentiated and reflects assets/liabilities objectives at any point in time.

Continuous monitoring to ensure that our Trade transactions generate walletproportionate levels of crosssell (at a minimum) across clients Cash and FX wallets.

Collaborate and work with FINCON Operations and IT to install an effective MIS system that supports proactive monitoring and realisation of all applicable CBG Trade revenues

Obtains and analyses information and works together with business unit managers to provide data that facilitates decisionmaking.

Requirements

University first degree required; Higher degree (MBA/MSc) desirable but not mandatory

10 to 15 years banking experience in diverse functions including business origination Trade Cash and SFS products cross selling and relationship management sound knowledge of industry and economic matters strong client and industry contact base
