Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing SQL/MySQL databases
- Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
- Troubleshooting database issues and performance bottlenecks
- Ensuring data security and integrity
- Collaborating with the development team to integrate database solutions
- Creating and maintaining database documentation
- Participating in database design and architecture decisions
- Performing regular database maintenance tasks
- Developing and implementing data migration strategies
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on databaserelated aspects
- Monitoring database performance and optimizing as necessary
- Participating in the planning and of disaster recovery procedures
- Keeping uptodate with industry best practices and trends in database development
- Assisting in the deployment of database changes to various environments
- Providing technical support for databaserelated issues
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Strong understanding of SQL and MySQL fundamentals
- Knowledge of database design principles and normalization
- Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures
- Understanding of database performance optimization techniques
- Basic understanding of database security principles
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of data migration and transformation processes
- Knowledge of indexing and query optimization
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
