Job Description
LAND USE ATTORNEYPARTNER LEVEL
LOCATION: San Diego CA/ Orange County
SALARY: $250k$300K
Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced attorney to join a growing Real Estate and Strategic Joint Venture team focusing on land use and planning.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with all phases of the land use and development process including:
- Preacquisition due diligence and strategy
- Entitlements
- State and federal environmental compliance (CEQA Coastal Act NEPA)
- Administrative appeals for development projects (residential commercial industrial mixeduse)
- Provide planning and entitlement services across San Diego and Orange County
- Collaborate with crossdisciplinary groups
- Experience with renewable energy projects is a plus but not required
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in land use and planning
- Strong connections and experience with the California Coastal Commission County of San Diego and City of San Diego
- Ability to manage projects across residential commercial industrial and mixeduse developments
- Familiarity with environmental compliance (CEQA Coastal Act NEPA)
- Proven track record of client service and practice growth
Compensation:
- Senior Associate salary range: $250000 $300000 depending on experience
- Significant bonus opportunities
- Competitive compensation for partner and senior counsel levels
