NATIVE AMERICAN LAW ATTORNEY
LOCATION: San Diego CA/Scottsdale AZ
SALARY: $145k$230K
Overview:
We are seeking a Midlevel Associate with a focus on Native American Law to join a growing legal team at a prestigious AmLaw 200 Firm. This is a great opportunity for career development with substantial client interaction and practice growth.
Responsibilities:
- Handle transactional work including:
- Intergovernmental negotiations and agreements
- Indian healthcare clinic contracts and operations
- Leasing and land use
- Gaming and hospitality
- Tribal employment matters
- Drafting legislation and ordinances
- Engage in legal matters related to Native American communities
Requirements:
- 35 years of experience in federal law impacting Native American tribes
- Tangible legal experience working in Native American communities
- California and/or Arizona bar admission
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong analytical writing and time management skills
- Detailoriented and professional in client relations
- Compensation:
Salary range:
$145000 $230000 depending on experience
