Job Title: Logistics Manager

Job Summary: The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the endtoend logistics operations of the organization pan india . This role involves coordinating transportation warehousing and distribution activities to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of goods. The Logistics Manager will work closely with suppliers customers and internal teams(Stores and Hub) to optimize supply chain processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement logistics strategies and procedures to ensure efficient operations. Plan and coordinate transportation and distribution activities to meet customer requirements and company objectives. Allocate Daily milk runs and regular courier shipment on a daily basis . Deliver On time to Spec (OTTS).
2. Supplier & Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers carriers and other logistics partners. Evaluate New vendors /Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and ensure quality service. Manage Large deliveries and coordinate vendor end to end supplies.
3. Warehouse Management: Oversee warehouse operations including inventory management order fulfillment and storage. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of goods.
4. Process Optimization: Analyze and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency reduce costs and increase productivity. Implement technology solutions and best practices to streamline operations.
5. Budget Management: Develop and manage logistics budgets including transportation warehousing and labor costs. Monitor and control expenses to stay within budgetary constraints.
6. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and supply chain performance. Prepare reports and provide insights to senior management on logistics operations and performance.
7. Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting delivery deadlines and resolving any issues that arise. Address and manage customer inquiries complaints and requests related to logistics.
8. Team Management: Supervise and mentor logistics staff including hiring training and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
9. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations company policies and international trade requirements. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with logistics operations.
