Brief Job Description: Assistant Manager/Manager Safety (Real Estate)
Position: Assistant Manager / Manager Safety
Location: Metalbox Site (Chembur) & Bandra Mumbai
Reporting to: General Manager / Site Head
Role Overview:
The Assistant Manager/Manager Safety will ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards at construction sites. The role focuses on site safety audits risk assessments accident investigations and training staff to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with regulations and company policies.
- Risk Assessment: Identify hazards and mitigate risks.
- Audits & Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions.
- Training: Conduct safety workshops for site staff and contractors.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
- Reporting: Maintain safety records and reports.
- Regulatory Liaison: Ensure compliance with national and local safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in safety management in construction.
- Safety certifications (NEBOSH OSHA) preferred.
