he successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing strategic legal advice conducting thorough research and representing clients in various stages of litigation. This role requires admission in both New Jersey and New York along with familiarity with the CPLR federal rules and other relevant legal procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and support senior counsel.
- Draft and prepare pleadings motions briefs Orders to Show Cause and other pleadings.
- Represent clients in court proceedings including hearings trials arbitrations and appeals.
- Prepare for and attend depositions.
- Effectively communicate with courts clients and adversaries.
- Stay abreast of relevant legal developments industry trends and best practices to ensure the highest quality of legal representation.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission to both NJ and NY.
- Minimum 5 years of sophisticated commercial litigation experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document managementbased software.
- Knowledge of electronic digital documentation and ediscovery matters.
- Intrinsically motivated selfstarter with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to deliver creative and pragmatic solutions and advice.
- Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills required for this role along with outstanding academic credentials.
