Overview
As a Family Medicine Physician at our Location facility you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to individuals and families across their lifespan. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide array of acute and chronic illnesses managing preventive care and fostering strong patientphysician relationships. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of our community.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and medical examinations of patients
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
- Providing ongoing management of chronic conditions and preventive care
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies
- Administering and coordinating various medical procedures and interventions
- Documenting patient encounters and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Offering patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for integrated patient care
- Participating in quality improvement and assurance initiatives
- Staying updated with medical guidelines research and best practices
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
- Completion of a residency program in Family Medicine
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Location state
- DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances
- Strong clinical acumen and proficiency in evidencebased medicine
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to ongoing medical education and professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment
