Overview:
As a Nuclear Medicine Consultant you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions using radioactive substances and advanced imaging technology. Key Responsibilities:
- Performing and interpreting nuclear medicine procedures
- Assessing and analyzing patient medical histories
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for patient care
- Ensuring radiation safety protocols are adhered to
- Supervising and training nuclear medicine technologists
- Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of residency in nuclear medicine
- Board certification in nuclear medicine
- Licensure to practice as a nuclear medicine physician
- Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and radiation physics
- Experience in conducting and interpreting nuclear medicine studies
- Proficiency in diagnostic interpretation and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
