We serve ALL and no one is turned away for inability to pay. Our health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or healthrelated claims including medical malpractice claims for itself and its covered individuals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses injuries and infections.
- Develop and implement patient management plans record progress notes and assist in the provision of continuity of care.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
- Educate and counsel patients on health maintenance disease prevention and treatment options.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in major surgeries as needed.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in community outreach programs and health education initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant in New Hampshire.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct primary care experience.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of primary care practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
