Job Description

I. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Produce parts from raw material using brake press.

2 needed 1 for 1st shift and 1 for 2nd shift


II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


Completes setup of machine which may include changing tools online editing of programs or positioning of machine parts as needed.

Loads material into machine.

Operates machine to create part(s) to specification.

Observes operations to detect malfunctions.

Inspect parts for confirmation to specification.

Complete minor adjustments to tooling or program to create conforming part.

Assist engineering with ADPP parts.

Quality checks on completed work.

Wears appropriate safety equipment for work being performed and as directed by company policy.

Maintains a safe work environment through good housekeeping practices.

Must be able and willing to work overtime

Good attendance is a must

All other duties as assigned.


III. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:


Capable of being trained for blue print reading and understanding.

Ability to utilize calibers and protractors

Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry 25 pounds frequently and 50 pound occasionally.

Physical ability to stand continuously frequent stooping and bending.

Sufficient visual acuity to read instructions and inspect parts produced.
