Processing Operator

Job Overview
This is a multipurpose role within the manufacturing process reporting to the shift managers. Youll work across various areas such as inbound milling mixing die roll and ovens. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth operation quality control and adherence to safety protocols in all assigned processes.

Key Duties

Milling & Mixing Rooms / Die Roll

  • Schedule and batch commodities or meat slurry into accurate mixtures.
  • Operate hammer mill mixing and screening systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and assist with upgrades and improvements.
  • Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a safe clean work environment and promote teamwork.
  • Perform QC tasks like metal checks date code inspections and dump logs.

Ovens

  • Safely and efficiently operate all oven and dryer equipment.
  • Complete reports accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with QA to address and resolve any production issues.
  • Monitor oven area activities report downtimes and assist in resolving issues.
  • Ensure productivity goals are met or exceeded during the shift.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of production experience.
  • Reliable transportation and stable work history.
  • Capable of working in elevated heights or confined spaces.
  • Knowledge of food safety GMP GHOP HACCP and SPC principles.
  • Adaptable to temperature extremes dust and chemicals.
  • Proficient in English with the ability to read production schedules and communicate effectively.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and wear required PPE (hair net bump cap ear plugs safety shoes uniform).
  • Must pass a preemployment drug screen.
