Working knowledge of tribal payroll accounting process procedures and report preparation. Personal computer skills in spreadsheets. 10key and other general office equipment. Good interpersonal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of Federal State and local reporting requirements. Tax Law knowledge and understanding of federal wage and hour laws and Fair Labor Standards Act. Working knowledge of accounting general ledger software such as FMS PDS and QuickBooks. Ability to journaling accounting transactions and to monitor due tos/froms. Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
