Join Axpo Singapore Pte Ltd where youll be part of a fastgrowing energy trading hub in Asia. Youll play a key role in developing power market analytics for Australia New Zealand Japan and Singapore contributing to power trading strategies within a dynamic international team.
What you will do:
- Support the development and improvement of power market models for proprietary trading activities
- Work with local and global analytics teams to ensure data integration across regions
- Provide market scenarios and sensitivities to aid risk/reward validation for trading ideas
- Maintain and enhance the analytics platform focusing on data management
- Monitor market trends regulations and opportunities for power trading
- Prepare adhoc analysis and reports for management and trading desks
What you bring & who you are:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
- Coding proficiency in Python with data analytics capabilities (e.g. Azure SQL)
- Experience in building and maintaining fundamental market models is a plus
- Commercially minded able to work under pressure and a team player with excellent communication skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in mathematics data science engineering or a related field
- Proficiency with MS tools like Excel Power BI and PowerPoint
About the team:
You will join a dynamic newly established power trading team at Axpo Singapore which collaborates closely with international offices. Youll work with experienced professionals across various products gaining handson experience in power trading analytics and market strategies.
