Job Description

The Specialist works closely with State Agencies to understand their business needs assists in development and/or recommendations to support the evaluation of programs improvement of services financial transparency compliance and safety.

This is a hybrid position. The candidate will be expected to work onsite every Wednesday.

The Department of Information Technology (DIT) serves as theTechnology Center for the State of NC. Services that DIT provides reach aclient base of state and local government agencies as well as schoolscolleges and universities. This position is within the NC DITs Data Analyticsteam within the Government Data Analytics Center which supports the developmentof enterprise business intelligence applications.

The Specialist works closely with State Agencies tounderstand their business needs assists in development and/or recommendationsto support the evaluation of programs improvement of services financialtransparency compliance and safety. This position is a technical resource whofosters partnership and collaboration across government agencies to assist indata driven decisions.

The Specialist will assist with a portfolio ofdevelopment efforts and have the primary responsibilities to:

Provideanalytics programming support

Provide enterprise solutions design support

Perform testing activities

Performsystems analysis

Provide project management support
