Job Description
Job Title: Drupal Lead (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development and implementation of Drupalbased websites and applications.
- Architect scalable and secure Drupal solutions ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Oversee migration from older versions of Drupal to Drupal 9/10.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Guide team members through technical challenges and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Manage project timelines resource allocation and client communication.
- Implement custom modules and leverage contributed modules to meet business requirements.
- Ensure best practices in coding security performance and accessibility.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including UX/UI designers content strategists and DevOps engineers.
- Perform code reviews troubleshooting and performance optimizations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Drupal development with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in Drupal 8/9/10 including custom module development theming and extending existing modules.
- Strong experience with PHP JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 and MySQL.
- Handson experience with Drupal migration strategies (Drupal 7 to Drupal 8/9).
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
- Deep understanding of web development best practices including security performance and SEO optimization.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Drupal certification (Acquia Certified Developer) is a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
