Job Title: Senior Delivery Lead
Location: Foster City CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Years of Experience: 12 Yrs.
Required Hours/Week: 40hrs./Week

Job Summary:
- Senior Delivery Lead is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables which requires engagement across multiple organizations.
- The ideal candidate will have pharma experience with GxP Technical Development or Pharma Biotech experience.
- Key responsibilities for this role include communicating target outcomes coordinating delivery resource planning providing visibility of program health and managing program risks compliance and financials.
- Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets Gilead expectations in terms of the target outcomes timeline and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.
Communication and Leadership:
- Customerfacing Lead with excellent communication skills to interact with Business Leads and BPOs in Technical Development and Mfg Operations to provide planning delivery updates and risk management
- Lead and coordinate routines to support the delivery of large programs such as kickoffs status reviews stakeholder meetings change controls and implementation gates
- Broaden relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations as well as Compliance and Risk
- Establish target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders
- Sets proper expectations with business stakeholders and supports escalation and resolution through negotiation or governance mechanisms
- IT partnerfacing Lead with excellent communication skills to translate business objectives and requirements for IT partners (i.e. Domain Architecture Enterprise Architecture Infrastructure Platforms IT Info Security etc) Quality Legal and external vendors to implement technical solutions with traceability to business objectives
- Plans workshop and guides discovery session to analyze business or IT operations to address specific challenges / risks and develop functional or compliance requirements
Delivery Execution:
- Lead programs / projects from requirements definition through deployment identifying schedules scopes budget estimations and project implementation plans including risk mitigation
- Develop clear communication plans with roles and responsibilities to ensure all project team members (business IT and external vendors) are clear on their role aware of project progress and all stakeholders are informed based on agreed upon communication plan
- Track success metrics and provide a status update to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes delivery performance risks issues and schedule
- Collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
- Manage program financials and supports resource planning
- Ensure adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
- Maintain compliance with IT policies controls and regulations driving operational excellence and industry best practices
- Competent in the interpretation of GxP Part 11 requirements
- Critical Thinking Manage by Facts
- Ability to balance risks in ambiguous and complex situations
- To coordinate internal and external resources ensuring projects remain within scope schedule and defined budgets in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
- Analyze project progress and when necessary follow change management to adjust scope timelines and costs to ensure that project team and sponsors are informed and aligned with the scope cost and delivery approach
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders and onsite IT Lead team providing daytoday contact on progress status and change management
Skills and Qualifications:
- 12 years project management experience
- 5 years Pharma experience
- Experience in Pharma and GxP compliance / 21 CFR Part 11
- Experience in successfully leading programs ontime onschedule. and within budget parameters
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Excellent written verbal and presentation communication skills
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project Excel Visio PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership
- Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change facilitate and enhance performance within a cross1functional environment
- Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems making decisions and identifying priorities
- Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
- Experience leading motivating and managing various project and program team sizes including internal and external resources while holding team accountable for performance
- Experience influencing and gaining buyin from executives sponsors team members stakeholders and peers
