Exciting Opportunity for Account/Business Development Manager in a dynamic Australianowned Wholesale Company with a strong record of success and a talented team.

About the Client:

Staff X is currently partnering with an Australianowned wholesale company marking 50 years of successful operations since its establishment in Melbourne. As importers and distributors of esteemed global brands including 3M Velcro Signode Robopac and Ranpak our client specialises in delivering premium adhesive tapes adhesives abrasives packaging systems safety hygiene and related products. Renowned as leaders in their industry and with a continued expansion into the NSW market our client is actively seeking an experienced or aspiring Account/Business Development professional to join their team at the
Sydney branch.

The Role:

As Account/Business Development Manager youll take charge of providing innovative solutions to both their established and prospective clients focusing primarily on the manufacturing warehousing and industrial sectors. Your role is pivotal in not just identifying new opportunities but also in fostering lasting relationships through consultative sales strategies that add tangible value to their operations. With a confident demeanor and adept negotiation skills youll excel in facetoface interactions embodying a customercentric approach that ensures mutual success. Supported by a talented team spanning procurement
marketing and internal sales your fieldwork will be bolstered by seamless collaboration. With their structured role advanced technology and comprehensive training youll have all the tools needed for success from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive sales growth within existing accounts through proactive relationship management.
Identify and onboard new accounts by conducting targeted market research.
Collaborate with the NSW branch team to achieve collective success.
Stay informed about new products and categories focusing on F&B and technical selling.
Cultivate relationships with supplier reps through fieldwork and industry engagemen


Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Sales background with a focus on industrial or manufacturing sectors (prior knowledge of their product range preferred)
  • Must have a passion for engaging facetoface with customers and building strong relationships.
  • Able to cover the North Shore Northern Beaches and Central Coast territories
  • Willing to service existing clients and actively prospect for new business
  • Motivated to grow the business and earn attractive bonuses (preferred)
  • Must have exceptional communication skills and polished professional presentation.
  • Demonstrated capacity and eagerness to learn new products systems and sales techniques.
  • Proven track record of identifying client needs and offering tailored solutions through consultative sales approaches.
  • Must have strong organisational skills to meet deadlines.
  • Must be committed to understanding and addressing customer needs.
  • Must be collaborative team player in achieving common goals.
  • Skilled in fostering positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates honesty ethics and transparency.
  • Interacts genuinely and respectfully with all stakeholders.
