Job Description
JOB DETAILS:
Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required)
Work Model: Hybrid (1 day per week in the office either in Porto or Lisbon)
DAYTODAY DUTIES:
As a Senior SAP APO at Top Sigma you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage demand and forecasting using SAP APOs Demand Planning (DP) functionalities to predict product demand based on historical data and statistical methods.
- Perform supply and demand analysis using tools such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning) MPS (Master Production Scheduling) and VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory).
- Handle incident management resolving complex and critical level 2 and 3 issues focusing on corrective maintenance.
- Process complex or nonstandardized service requests.
- Create and document procedures for incident and service request handling by level 2 teams and lead knowledge transfer sessions.
- Contribute to reducing the backlog and enhancing services as part of Continuous Service Improvement (CSI).
- Work on enhancement projects analyzing needs designing solutions and implementing developments while adhering to the change management process.
- Utilize SAP APO for Demand Planning (DP) and Global Available to Promise (GATP) with potential exposure to additional planning tools like OMP and VMI.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of experience with SAP APO with a strong focus on Demand Planning and Supply Chain Management.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Proven experience in managing level 2 and 3 incidents and contributing to service improvement.
- Ability to analyze business needs and design solutions for supply chain optimization.
- Familiarity with change management processes in an SAP APO environment.
