About Our Client:
Our client is a global automotive supplier and partner to automakers worldwide dedicated to innovation and technological advancements in the automotive industry. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects ensuring successful delivery and alignment with corporate objectives.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Project Manager you will oversee multiple projects from conception through managing crossfunctional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals. Your leadership will drive performance ensuring that projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning and closure ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Manage project timelines budgets and resources effectively providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering production and quality assurance to ensure seamless project
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact
- Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders ensuring transparency and collaboration
- Conduct regular project reviews and performance evaluations implementing improvements as necessary
- Ensure compliance with company standards policies and regulations throughout the project lifecycle
- Mentor and develop project team members fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Eligibility:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Management or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management preferably in the automotive industry
- Candidates must currently reside in Japan to be considered for this position
Welcome Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record of successfully managing large complex projects
- Strong understanding of automotive technologies and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Familiarity with project management software and tools
