Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers MI is a 24hour skilled nursing facility that provides Alzheimer s care longterm care and rehabilitation services.

Some of your daytoday duties as a Certified Nurse s Aide will include:

• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals feeding residents as necessary and ambulating turning and positioning residents; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting residents; answering residents call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the resident to the nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms reports logs and records.
• Maintains State and Federal guidelines by following policies and procedures.
• Protects organization s value by keeping resident information confidential.
• Enhances the nursing department by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Agency MUST have mandated State of Michigan ICHAT account set up prior to submittal as it may take 3 weeks to be set up with an account. This is NonNegotiable

Additional Facility Information

• No block schedule guaranteed/ Must be able to work any shift as needed.
• ATTENDANCE is a MUST Facility reserves the right to cancel an active assignment due to multiple NC/NS callouts etc...

• Facility has a cat and dog that live onsite full time. Please make sure your candidates are aware in case they are uncomfortable with dogs or casts or have an allergies to them.

Requirement description :

Current MI CNA License Required

1 Year of LTC Care Required

Ability to move up to 25 lbs. & frequently lift and/or move more than 50 lbs.

Must have own /reliable transportation there is no ride share available in this area. Must be comfortable driving in snow and ice. Required.

Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress related to working with persons who are ill disabled elderly and/or emotionally upset.

Covid Vac not required at this time but if not vaccinated must apply for exemption using the form supplied during compliance process upon acceptance.

Must be detail oriented and have excellent literacy and writing documentation communications and interpersonal abilities

• Work History including explanation of any gaps in employment surpassing 3 months
• Skills checklist for pertinent specialty
• At least 1 supervisor reference from within the previous two years 2nd MUST be obtained prior/during onboarding
• MI License / BLS Cert: Must be uploaded in profile
