Job Summary: The Senior Director of IT Strategy will be a key member of the executive team responsible for developing and executing the companys IT strategy to align with overall business objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of technology trends business acumen and exceptional leadership skills to drive transformational change across our IT functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the companys goals and objectives. Lead strategic initiatives and drive the roadmap for digital transformation.
Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement.
Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage. Make recommendations for technology investments and upgrades.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior executives business leaders and other stakeholders to ensure IT strategies and projects align with business needs and priorities.
Budget Management: Oversee the IT budget including planning forecasting and resource allocation. Ensure costeffective use of technology resources and investments.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to IT strategy and operations and develop mitigation plans. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of IT strategies and initiatives. Report on progress and outcomes to the executive team.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to IT projects and initiatives ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field. Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. PMP ITIL) preferred.
Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role with a strong track record of developing and implementing IT strategies that drive business success.
Indepth knowledge of IT infrastructure software development data management cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
Excellent strategic thinking and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate business needs into effective IT solutions.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior executives and other stakeholders.
Experience managing largescale IT projects and budgets with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
