Position Overview:
The Director of Product Development will be a key leader in our product strategy and overseeing the development of innovative and marketleading products. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep experience in product management crossfunctional team leadership and a track record of successful product launches. The Director will drive the product development lifecycle from concept through launch ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the product development strategy aligning with the companys overall vision and business objectives.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor a highperforming team of product managers designers and engineers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product development process including ideation design development testing and launch.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends customer needs and growth opportunities.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing sales engineering and customer support teams to ensure product alignment and successful gotomarket strategies.
- Project Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and on budget utilizing project management best practices and tools.
- Customer Focus: Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive product improvements and ensure user satisfaction.
- Innovation: Champion a culture of innovation within the team encouraging creative solutions and staying ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Product Design or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in product development or product management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to drive product vision and strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with product development tools and methodologies; experience with software and technology products is a plus.
