HR Compliance and Audit Specialist

Job Title: HR Compliance and Audit Specialist (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Develop implement and monitor HR compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to local state and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular internal audits of HR processes practices and documentation to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present audit findings recommendations and action plans to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Stay current with changes in employment laws and regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly.
• Collaborate with HR teams to provide guidance on compliancerelated issues and ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and filings ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and deliver training programs for HR staff and management on compliancerelated topics and best practices.
• Respond to inquiries and investigations related to compliance issues from regulatory agencies or internal stakeholders.
• Support the HR department in implementing corrective actions and tracking progress on compliance initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Law or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR compliance audit or a similar role.
• Indepth knowledge of employment laws and regulations including specific laws relevant to your location.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and address compliance issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems and compliance management software.
• Certification in HR compliance or audit (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance.
