Job Description
Job Title: Database Development (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain database schemas tables views and indexes.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries stored procedures and functions.
- Ensure data integrity consistency and security across databases.
- Collaborate with developers analysts and other stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures.
- Stay uptodate with emerging database technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle or SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
- Experience with performance tuning indexing and query optimization.
- Experience in database security practices and data protection regulations.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB Cassandra).
- Knowledge of cloudbased database solutions (e.g. AWS RDS Azure SQL).
- Experience in ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with database migration and integration tools.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
