Database Architecture

Job Title: Database Architecture (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement database architectures that support our business needs.
• Develop and maintain database models schemas and metadata.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Ensure database security backup and recovery processes are in place and effective.
• Collaborate with developers and data scientists to support application and analytics needs.
• Evaluate and recommend database technologies and tools.
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in database technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Database Architect or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB Cassandra).
• Experience with cloudbased database solutions (e.g. AWS RDS Azure SQL Google Cloud SQL).
• Knowledge of database design principles and best practices.
• Experience in data warehousing ETL processes and data modeling.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance.
