Job Description
Job Title: Database Architecture (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database architectures that support our business needs.
- Develop and maintain database models schemas and metadata.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ensure database security backup and recovery processes are in place and effective.
- Collaborate with developers and data scientists to support application and analytics needs.
- Evaluate and recommend database technologies and tools.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in database technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Database Architect or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB Cassandra).
- Experience with cloudbased database solutions (e.g. AWS RDS Azure SQL Google Cloud SQL).
- Knowledge of database design principles and best practices.
- Experience in data warehousing ETL processes and data modeling.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
