Job Title: Cybersecurity Support

Location: Oyster Bay NY (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts using various security tools and platforms.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents providing timely resolutions and detailed documentation.
• Assist in the implementation and management of security policies procedures and controls.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support the remediation of identified security weaknesses.
• Provide support for securityrelated issues including troubleshooting and resolution.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends threats and best practices.
• Assist with the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a cybersecurity support or IT role is preferred.
• Experience in security tools and technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and antivirus software.
• Basic understanding of network protocols operating systems and common cybersecurity threats.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security CEH CISSP) are a plus.
