Job Title: Cybersecurity Support
Location: Oyster Bay NY (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts using various security tools and platforms.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents providing timely resolutions and detailed documentation.
- Assist in the implementation and management of security policies procedures and controls.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support the remediation of identified security weaknesses.
- Provide support for securityrelated issues including troubleshooting and resolution.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends threats and best practices.
- Assist with the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a cybersecurity support or IT role is preferred.
- Experience in security tools and technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and antivirus software.
- Basic understanding of network protocols operating systems and common cybersecurity threats.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security CEH CISSP) are a plus.
