Overview
The International Business Development Executive/Manager plays a crucial role in driving the companys growth through expanding business in international markets specifically in the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Virtual Assistant (VA) sectors. This position is instrumental in identifying new business opportunities building client relationships and leading strategic initiatives to achieve sales targets and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in international RPO and VA markets.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the companys presence and revenue in target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their business needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Lead and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals ensuring consistent revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to identify and capitalize on emerging trends and competitive activities.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts pricing and terms with clients ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize service offerings and proposals to meet client requirements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Utilize CRM systems and other tools to track manage and report on sales activities and opportunities.
- Attend industry events conferences and seminars to network and promote the companys services.
- Participate in regular sales meetings performance reviews and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Monitor market changes and competitor activities to adjust strategies and tactics accordingly.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and strategies to support sales efforts.
- Lead and mentor junior sales team members providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully expanding business in international markets specifically in RPO and VA sectors.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in international sales or business development preferably in the outsourcing industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in understanding and fulfilling client needs through effective solution selling.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a focus on achieving winwin agreements.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with the capacity to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to travel internationally as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in using CRM and sales tracking tools to manage and report on sales activities.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
- Proactive selfmotivated and resultsoriented individual with a strong sense of accountability.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior sales team members is an advantage.
- Familiarity with virtual assistant services and RPO processes is highly desirable.
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus given the international scope of the role.
- Understanding of cultural differences and business practices in diverse international markets.
