Overview:
As an Account Manager at our company you will play a crucial role in maintaining and growing relationships with our clients. You will be responsible for understanding client needs providing exceptional customer service and driving revenue growth. Your strategic approach to account management will directly impact our business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts and act as the main point of contact
- Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships
- Develop account management strategies to achieve sales targets and drive profitability
- Identify upsell and crosssell opportunities within existing accounts
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of our products/services according to client needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and resolve issues
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status and communicate insights to internal stakeholders
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in account management
- Participate in the development of new business opportunities through proactive customer outreach
- Attend client meetings events and industry conferences as required
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and sales strategies
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional service delivery
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or related field
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager Key Account Manager Sales Account Manager Junior Account Manager or relevant role
- Demonstrable ability to communicate present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Experience in delivering clientfocused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with CRM software and MS Office applications
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Understanding of performance metrics and ability to meet sales targets
- Ability to travel as needed
- Certification in Sales or Account Management is a plus
- Selfmotivated with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency
- Proven ability to work in a team and independently
- Ability to prioritize multitask and perform effectively under pressure
