Job Description
EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech & Vascular to join our team in Yuma AZ. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing highquality imaging services and will thrive in a fastpaced environment. This position involves working in our interventional radiology suite and a room designated for less complex cases.
Responsibilities
- Rotate between scrubbing in circulating and taking down the room for various procedures.
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to:
- USguided paracentesis and thoracentesis
- Dialysis fistulagrams and catheter placements
- Thrombectomies and biopsies
- Manage PACS tasks including revising orders sending images conducting quality control of images and communicating with the management team.
- Collaborate with the interventional radiologist and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Average Caseload
- Approximately 2532 cases per day across one suite and one room.
Required Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT (VI)
- Arizona State License
Preferred Experience
- 35 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and PACS (deconstructed off eUnity).
- Experience with Phillips Alera Medrad injector and Xper hemodynamic system.
Common Diagnoses/Types of Patients
- Procedures performed in the suite include nephrology urinary work fistulagrams hemoembolization CT and ultrasoundguided biopsies (bone marrow thyroids) thrombectomies PEs and occasional DVTs.
- Less complex procedures in the room include paracentesis thoracentesis port exchanges and PICC line placements.
Work Environment
- One Interventional Radiologist onsite 24/7.
- Manager available for additional concerns and resources; a lead tech assists with inroom needs.
