Job Description
Position Title: Pharmacy Director
Location: Lewiston ID
Salary: $160000 $200000
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Idaho.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of hospital pharmacy experience with at least three (3) years in a directorlevel or management role.
The Pharmacy Director will oversee all aspects of the pharmacy department ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services in accordance with regulatory guidelines and hospital policies. Responsibilities include managing pharmacy operations supervising staff developing and maintaining budgets and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in a hospital setting excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and other healthcare departments. The role also involves optimizing the use of medications within the hospital implementing new programs and contributing to overall patient care initiatives. Experience in strategic planning resource management and quality improvement is highly preferred.
