Job Description

Location: CFSA 200 I Street SE Washington District Of Columbia 20003 US


Position Description: This senior business analyst and process consultant position is in the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) and will support the development of a new technology platform for the agency to implement a new comprehensive child welfare information system (CCWIS). As a business analyst and process consultant you will support the assessment of current systems and processes and then develop requirements process flows user stories and wireframes for the future platform. The business analyst and process consultant will also participate in testing efforts and rollout activities.

General skills (must have):

610 years as a business analyst or process consultant supporting an implementation of a technology platform 6 year(s) of experience

Development of user requirements user stories and acceptance criteria 6 year(s) of experience

Develop wireframes and mockups 2 year(s) of experience

Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills 6 year(s) of experience


General skills (nice to have):

Jira or Microsoft ADO or similar tool

Experience in Figma or similar tool

Experience in process for diagram tools such as Lucid Charts or Vizio or similar tool


Language skills (must have):

English Native or bilingual proficiency


Experience required:

  • The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team of consultants to provide these services and will have the following skills/capabilities:
  • Interact with clients to understand complex business requirements
  • Create functional requirements and design for customizations
  • Document existing process flows and develop future process flows
  • Develop wireframes
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Assist in developing test scenarios and cases
  • Participate in and support rollout and training activities
  • Interact with clients to understand complex business requirements
  • Review the developerproposed implementation and identify efficient designs
  • Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills
Education and Professional Qualifications**:
  • 4 years experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of personnel
  • Strong clientservice orientation and focus
  • Thorough attention to detail and a strong desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to CFSAs
  • Experience across a variety of industries
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in business administration Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
  • 610 years as a business analyst or process consultant supporting an implementation of a technology platform Required
  • 6 Development of user requirements user stories and acceptance criteria Required
  • 6 Develop wireframes and mockups Required
  • 2 Bachelor s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience Required
  • 10 Excellent written and oral English communication and presentation skills Required
  • 6 Jira or Microsoft ADO or similar tool Highly desired
  • 1 Experience in Figma or similar tool Highly desired
  • 1 Experience in process for diagram tools such as Lucid Charts or Vizio or similar tool Highly desired
  • 1 4 Days onsite Required

Additional job information:

**Work Arrangement and Location:** The role is 4 Days Onsite at CFSA 200 I Street SE Washington DC 20003. **Time Zone:** The candidate must be able to attend and participate in onsite meetings from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time zone.
