Summary:
Responsible for engineering leadership for Manufacturing and Distribution for the Garden Furniture Business Unit in Keters Portersville / Adams Manufacturing facility. The position will support manufacturing and distribution operations related to preventative maintenance repairs root cause problem solving and technical skill development of maintenance and other technical positions. The role will have up to 20 direct technical reports. In addition the role will lead and participate in crossfunctional continuous improvement and NPD projects with the Engineering and Operations teams.
In This Role You ll Have The Opportunity To:
- Supervise facilities and manufacturing maintenance teams relative to short term and long term goals managing the day to day activities while planning for the future. Responsible for 5 buildings.
- Further develop and coordinate preventative maintenance program for all primary and secondary equipment for injection molding assembly and distribution. Programs include daily weekly and annual maintenance executed by the Adams maintenance team and external contractors.
- Manages projects that could include; new equipment specification and justification development of new manufacturing methods machine capability studies new product launches equipment moves Manage tooling repairs within the operation and at external tool vendors through timelines status updates and vendor visits as required.
- Collaborate with the Operation to improve key metrics centered around OEE and quality performance relative to primary and secondary equipment.
- Drive root cause solutions to improve safety quality maintenance mold change and processing as they relate to primary and secondary equipment.
- Coordinates the specification installation and startup of primary and secondary equipment including injection molding machines chillers cranes etc.
- Proficient with hydraulic pneumatic and electrical troubleshooting
- Designs workstations with consideration for ergonomics cell layout value stream mapping and error proofing
- Designs automation and manages automation builds
- Identify knowledge gaps within the technical team and provide training and coaching roadmap to further develop the team
- Lead and participate in crossfunctional continuous improvement projects including DFMEA PFMEA Root Cause Analysis 5S etc.
- Manage building layouts and all technical documentation.

What You Need To Succeed:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel PowerPoint Outlook Word etc.)
- Project and timeline management skills
- Root cause problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of injection molding machines gantry robots secondary equipment including chillers temperature control units hot runner/valve gate controls cranes etc.
- Working knowledge of facility maintenance including roofs HVAC plumbing etc.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 10 years experience in injection molding preferred
- Vendor communication experience
