As the InSuite Dining Manager you will be responsible for curating a superior guest experience through effective leadership planning and directing of all activities while delivering top line revenue colleague engagement guest satisfaction and fiscal results.
Salary Range: $76000$82000
What you will be doing:
- Oversee all aspects of InSuite Dining operations.
- Provide an active presence during peak business hours.
- Keep up with current trends related to inroom luxury dining and experiences.
- Target areas that will allow InSuite Dining to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction results.
- Evaluate areas with opportunities for revenue growth through implementation of menus and amenity options that cater to our guests needs and anticipate their wants.
- Manage labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling budgeting purchasing and forecasting.
- Compile month end financial recap of InSuite Dining to include actual results versus forecast/budget/previous year and submission of analysis.
- Ensure all brand standards and programs are in place and maintained.
- Have full knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods for all food and beverage venues on property.
- Collaborate with other departments at the Kea Lani to contribute to the overall smooth operation of the hotel.
- Drive revenue and profit through the implementation of strategies practices and promotions.
- Conduct monthly and Quarterly Inventory counts.
- Recruit motivate coach and discipline InSuite Dining colleagues.
- Lead the team in all aspects of the venues culture to ensure service & hospitality standards are followed.
- Train evaluate and promote the growth and development of internal talent.
- Complete oneonone meetings and performance reviews in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain the safety and sanitation of the outlet in adherence to local Health Department and EHC safety guidelines.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all level of colleagues in an attentive friendly courteous and service oriented manner
- Must be able to speak read write and understand the English language
- Requires good communication skills both verbal and written
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
- Must be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority both internally and externally
- Must possess basic computational ability
- Must possess computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word Excel and email functions
- Understanding of emerging trends and applying to future business planning.
- Understanding of Hawaii regulations and enforcement agencies.
- Flexibility in approach to problemsolving and creative thinking.
- Maintain a professional working environment and attitude.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent or vocational training
Experience
- Minimum of two years management experience in Food & Beverage operations required
- Experience in Silverware system is an asset
Licenses or Certificates
- TB Clearance
- Maui County Liquor Card
- Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification
