Job Title: Risk Management Director
Job Overview:
As a Risk Management Director you will be responsible for identifying assessing and mitigating risks to the organization. This role involves creating risk management strategies ensuring regulatory compliance and working closely with leadership to develop and implement policies that minimize potential risks. You will oversee a team manage enterprisewide risk assessments and collaborate with various departments to align risk management with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies.
- Lead enterprisewide risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align risk management with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on risk exposures recommending mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Manage and mentor the risk management team.
- Provide riskrelated training to employees at all levels.
- Develop relationships with external partners (e.g. insurance providers regulatory agencies).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business Risk Management or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 710 years of experience in risk management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements risk assessment tools and risk management best practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to make datadriven decisions.
- Strong leadership communication and collaboration skills.
- Professional certifications such as CRM (Certified Risk Manager) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) preferred.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary: $120000 $180000 annually depending on experience.
