Join a large growing international freight forwarding company they are seeking for a Sales Director to lead their sales team. This role involves overseeing the sales department developing strategies and implementing effective tools to drive success. The Sales Director will focus on building and supporting a highperforming team working closely with leadership including the CEO and collaborating with Finance and Operations to enhance productivity through advanced tools technologies and processes.
Essential Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver comprehensive sales analysis reporting and planning for overall sales quotas product volumes and margins.
Prepare sales performance reports monitor key performance indicators and manage distribution of sales reports and data.
Lead and develop the Sales team setting performance goals and managing results.
Oversee sales operations including pipeline management quota attainment lead generation and account assignments.
Train and support the sales team on applications lead management and reporting tools.
Develop and implement sales enablement programs including training trade conferences and promotional activities.
Solicit maintain and grow client accounts to drive longterm business growth.
Lead efforts to promote the companys brand within the assigned area with an emphasis on NVOCC Airfreight and Supply Chain/Logistics services.
Coordinate communications between their customers and internal teams prepare meeting materials and support rate quotes for external and internal stakeholders.
Manage customer onboarding processes including setup SOP finalization and invoicing.
Conduct telesales qualify prospects and schedule appointments to grow business opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Business Supply Chain or related field (preferred).
5 years in sales within TransPacific Trade NVOCC Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
5 years of knowledge in NVOCC Logistics and Ocean/Sea Freight.
35 years managing and leading a sales team.
Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).
Strong sales methodology strategic selling and enablement skills.
Selfmotivated resultsdriven with strong time management.
Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
Knowledge of ocean shipment documentation and P&L management (a plus).
Teamoriented positive detailoriented with strong problemsolving.
Benefits Compensation
Hybrid positions for: Los Angeles CA; New York NY; New Jersey NJ
Salary Range: $90000 to $140000 (Depends on Experience) Sales Commission Program
