Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent education (Titled/Cedule).
• Must have 5 years of experience as related to product/process development
• Visa and valid passport (1020% of trips)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Project Outlook)
• Ability to lead Business case development

Responsibilities:

• Develop manufacturing strategy for engineering to support business growth and transfers. Provides analysis and recommendations for new technology.
• Is responsible for developing and managing a capital plan.
• Identify develop and launch product lines and families which enable Nelson’s growth initiatives.
• Partner with sales organization to promote new product technologies through facetoface meetings coordination with customer engineering teams etc.
• Strong Continuous Improvement skill set.
• Develop and implement engineering technologies (Core Competencies) to support business initiatives.
• Develop a manufacturing strategy to leverage equipment and capabilities across the enterprise and serve as the manufacturing interface with the commercial group to establish a process to determine “best” manufacturing location/equipment for quoted products.
• Support key performance measures for the plant in the areas of quality safety and productivity.
