Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer Director
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent education (Titled/Cedule).
- Must have 5 years of experience as related to product/process development
- Visa and valid passport (1020% of trips)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Project Outlook)
- Ability to lead Business case development
Responsibilities:
- Develop manufacturing strategy for engineering to support business growth and transfers. Provides analysis and recommendations for new technology.
- Is responsible for developing and managing a capital plan.
- Identify develop and launch product lines and families which enable Nelson’s growth initiatives.
- Partner with sales organization to promote new product technologies through facetoface meetings coordination with customer engineering teams etc.
- Strong Continuous Improvement skill set.
- Develop and implement engineering technologies (Core Competencies) to support business initiatives.
- Develop a manufacturing strategy to leverage equipment and capabilities across the enterprise and serve as the manufacturing interface with the commercial group to establish a process to determine “best” manufacturing location/equipment for quoted products.
- Support key performance measures for the plant in the areas of quality safety and productivity.
