TPF Recruitment Kent s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is working on behalf of a highly regarded modern chartered accountancy practice based in Sidcup seeking an Accounts Manager to join their experienced team. This independent multisited firm of chartered accountants offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
As an Accounts Manager you will collaborate with other managers and oversee a diverse client portfolio including sole traders partnerships and limited companies. You will have the flexibility to manage your portfolio independently while working closely with a skilled team of managers and partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied client portfolio
- Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts
- Creating income and expenditure accounts for clients as needed
- Overseeing bookkeeping and organizing accounting records
- Reviewing preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing and submitting personal and corporate tax returns
- Providing outstanding client service by addressing queries and offering support
- Collaborating with senior management including assisting Partners on projects
- Contributing to the firm s growth by retaining existing clients and fostering relationships with potential clients.
Requirements
Accounts Manager Sidcup
- You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.
- You will have worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts management accounts tax and VAT.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
