Job Description
Were looking for a strong intern to join and work closely with our engineering team to support the creation and maintenance of our web application. Youll gain valuable experience in frontend and backend technologies and contribute to a realworld project.
Jobkey is building a B2B SaaS platform in the procurement industry. We help companies and staffing providers streamline the interaction with each other to maximize efficiencies. Thereby the corporates can purchase professional services through the platform and manage the contingent workforce. Backed by renowned business angels and family offices we are defining a new market leader.
Tasks
- FullStack Development: Assist in developing web applications using JavaScript TypeScript and popular frameworks like Vue or React to build engaging user experiences
- Backend Contributions: Contribute to backend development by creating RESTful APIs with Express ensuring robust serverside functionality
- Containerization & Deployment: Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to streamline development and deployment processes
- Database Management: Support database management using PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks such as Sequelize or TypeORM ensuring efficient data handling
- Testing & Debugging: Participate in code testing and debugging including unit and endtoend testing while writing automated test cases to enhance software reliability
Requirements
- Currently pursuing (final year) or recently completed a degree in Compupter Science Informatics Software Engineering or a related field
- Standing out by exceptional achievements in extracurricular activities work experience or your academic career
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with JavaScript and TypeScript as well as understanding of HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue or React) and backend development (e.g. Express)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP) is a plus
- Strong problemsolving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies as well as a hardworking and entrepreneurially driven mindset
- Fluent in English
