Requirements

• Current Certification in Standard First Aid and Infant & Child CPR (Level C)
  
• Clear Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
  
• Up to date Immunization records.
  
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Ontario Early Learning Framework
    
  • How Does Learning Happen
    
  • ELECT
    
• Familiarity with and willingness to comply with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA 2014).
  
• Completed the following online selftest training:
  • CCEYA Licensing Standards SelfTest (with certificate of completion)
    
  • Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps (with proof of completion)
    
• Minimum 4 years of experience the childcare field.
