This is a replacement role and will report to the CEO overseeing the entire groups Finance and Accounting function.
We are looking for an inspirational highly motivated and handson leader with strong commercial and strategic sense who also has strong controllership handson operating and experienced in evaluating M&A deals.
The Challenges
Finance & Accounting
- Oversee all financial activities of the company including planning reporting and analysis.
- Partner CEO Deputy CEO and other senior management to maximize growth in the business
- Lead the financial planning and analysis function to provide insights and recommendations for business strategy and decisionmaking.
- Monitor and manage the companys cash flow ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure robust financial controls and procedures are in place.
- Ensure financial compliance with all relevant regulations and laws. Identify and manage financial risks associated with business activities.
- Oversee the companys accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and financial reporting. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate annual audit processes.
M&A Strategy &
- Lead the companys M&A strategy identifying evaluating and executing potential acquisition targets to enhance the companys growth and market position.
- Direct comprehensive due diligence processes including financial operational legal and risk assessments of potential acquisition targets.
- Develop and implement complex financial models to evaluate the financial impact of potential M&A transactions.
- Lead negotiations with potential acquisition targets ensuring favorable terms and conditions. Prepare and review deal structures term sheets and contracts.
- Plan and manage postmerger integration activities to ensure smooth transitions and the realization of anticipated synergies.
- Communicate M&A strategies opportunities and outcomes to senior management board members and other key stakeholders. Prepare detailed reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with the companys growth objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws. Identify and manage financial risks associated with M&A activities.
What It Takes
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related field. CPA MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance with a significant focus on M& or corporate development. Proven track record in leading successful M&A transactions with the service sector.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to lead crossfunctional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in financial modeling valuation techniques and data analysis. Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools.
- Indepth knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and compliance requirements. Experience managing accounting operations and internal controls.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and conditions in M&A transactions.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards in financial management and decisionmaking.
