Job Description
This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- Fulltime
- 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day
- Monday Friday
- 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Sydney Time (or 7:00 AM 4:00 PM Manila time) with flexibility to cover European hours as needed
- With 1 hour unpaid break in between

Job Description:
We are looking for a detailoriented and skilled Accountant to join our finance team. This role involves transaction processing supporting operations and conducting some analysis. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and Operations teams to support monthly and weekly accounting and reporting activities.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Financial Controller and Operations teams.
- Assist with monthly and weekly accounting and reporting.
- Process and record operations data to support the operations teams.
- Handle accounts receivable/payable and manage the accounts email inboxes.
- Generate send and follow up on invoices.
- Correspond with suppliers and customers on related matters.
- Maintain financial and operations databases and systems ensuring accurate filing.
- Accurately record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Maintain a systematic record of financial documents and ensure they are uptodate.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare for audits and other financial reviews.
- Stay updated with financial policies regulations and legislation.
Requirements
- Experience in a bookkeeping and transaction processing role for international clients.
- A degree or certification in Finance Accounting or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using Xero for financial management and reporting purposes with experience in the broader Xero ecosystem.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Prepared to work across multiple time zones.
Highly Regarded Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in highgrowth businesses.
- International operations and foreign currency experience.
- FMCG stock and assembly experience.
