This is a remote position.
- Draft several Income Tax Return for review by the Manager
- Prepare income tax return for Individual Company Trusts and Superannuation
- Assist with the flow of information between the account & its clients
- Data input through Xero accounting system
- Draft Business Activity Statement (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statement (IAS) for review by the Accountants in Australia
- Prepare draft Financial Statements including Depreciation Schedules for review by the offshore Accountants
- Prepare ATO applications such as ABN TFN GST and PAYG
- Liaise with ATO on client matters
- Attend to business entity setup and registration
- Ensure consistent errorfree professionally presented work compliant with procedures and systems
- Participate in internal and external training as required
- Maintain current files and records accurate and date any actioned and detailed file notes
- Prepare workflow reports for clients
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of relevant taxation and other related legislation and rulings
- Perform other duties that the client and management may require
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years Australian Public Practice experience
- Working knowledge of any of the following accounting software: Xero XPM Dext (Receipt Bank) Workflow Max MYOB etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft apps with highlevel MS Excel skills
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
