Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Estimation Manager to join our team in KSA. Reporting to the Estimation Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the estimation process for our construction projects. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic individual who is looking to further develop their career in the construction industry and be a part of a growing international company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Estimation Manager in preparing and reviewing cost estimates for construction projects in KSA.
- Collaborate with the project team to gather and analyze project data including material and labor costs to accurately estimate project costs.
- Review project plans specifications and other documents to identify potential costsaving opportunities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed cost reports and documentation.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and cost control measures.
- Support the Estimation Manager in evaluating and analyzing project risks and opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to ensure accurate costing.
- Participate in meetings and presentations with clients and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimation preferably with an international construction firm.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies materials and costs.
- Proficient in using estimation software such as Primavera CostX or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
