Overview
The Junior PHP Web Developer plays a crucial role in our organization by contributing to the design development and maintenance of web applications using PHP and other related technologies. They are essential in supporting the growth and success of our online presence ensuring seamless user experiences and maintaining highquality code standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of web applications using PHP HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
- Develop and maintain databases in MySQL
- Conduct thorough testing of web applications to ensure functionality and optimization
- Identify and troubleshoot various website issues and propose solutions
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in web development
- Assist in the integration of thirdparty APIs
- Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Contribute to technical documentation and user guides
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Proven experience with PHP web development
- Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of MySQL databases and query optimization
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of web services and RESTful APIs
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug web applications
- Understanding of crossbrowser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
