Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Figuring out the technical needs to team members and solving the technical aspects of their work with them
- Document/create processes
- Communicating any new features or processes with the team
- Write clean test driven easily maintainable modular code
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Perform UI/backend tests to optimize performance
- Manage cuttingedge technologies to improve legacy applications
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with server side logic
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Liaise with developers designers and system administrators to identify new features
- Follow emerging technologies
- Integrate and maintain various API connections
- Develop various automation processes on various platforms such as Zapier IFTTT or simply design manual processes
Job Skills:
- Excellent communication skills geared towards communicating with both technical and nontechnical parts of the team acting as translator where needed
- Proven work experience with PHP JS CSS HTML
- Work experience with Laravel and WordPress
- Experience with Vue.js a strong plus
- Ability to find patterns to automate redundant manual tasks
- Linux console skills
- Familiarity with AWS server architecture
- Indepth understanding of the entire development process (design development QA deployment)
- Familiarity with frontend languages and tools (e.g. HTML JavaScript CSS jQuery etc)
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Teamwork skills with a resourceful problemsolving attitude
- Experience using git
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
